the Daily Dill

weekly Cawfee Break

Hi! My name’s Dill.

My full name is Dill Parchment. I’m technically a Jr., but I don’t add that part when I introduce myself because I think it’s irrelevant. Irrelevant is when something doesn’t really matter that much or add flair.

Flair is pizzazz. Pizzazz is like garlic in a dish. It’s really important that you understand this before I get to the point. I’m a fan of preludes. A prelude is like an introduction.

I’m 10 and I go to catholic school. Next year I’ll be 11. Except every year it’s my birthday I just go back to being 10. Continuity stuff I guess. I get detention a lot. I got detention for a year one time and it wasn’t even useful. I just kept being told to sit still, which is hard for me as a pretty active guy. I’m not, like a gymnast or anything, but sometimes I need to see how far back in the chair I can lean. Besides if I fall I’ll just duck and roll. It won’t make much noise - it doesn’t - and I don’t - shouldn’t (?) - get in trouble.

The important thing is I like to draw! Read on to join my adventures.

Sunday style comics about Dill starting mini revolutions.

New cartoon at the end of every 40 hour work week.

about Dill’s website

Thanks for checking out Dill’s website (or returning). This is in the voice of the author, Clyde. On dillcomics.com you will see:

  • Words from the author’s voice, usually signed as clyde, the author or sometimes cap’.

  • Words from Dill’s voice. It’s his website.

I am an adult human, not to be confused with all the 2D characters you’ll see on this website.

Everything you see here was made by me unless otherwise specified. All Dill Comics are scripted, drawn and colored by my hand. Many are freehand, some are penciled, then inked and scan, with the occasional digitally produced comic.

You can hire me to draw an illustration or comic. They make great gifts and are generally excellent decoration. Plus, you get to be a patron of the arts. Contact here.
